Sesaat setelah CEO Apple Tim Cook naik ke panggung dan memberikan keynote speech-nya mengenai keberhasilan toko Apple Store, penjualan iPad hingga aplikasi, giliran Phil Schiller, Apple Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing naik ke atas panggung.
iPhone 5 ini hadir dengan bodi yang lebih tipis dan desain yang diklaim sangat elegan. Bahkan Schiller menyebutnya sebagai produk yang paling indah yang pernah dibuat oleh Apple.
"iPhone 5 seluruhnya terbuat dari kaca dan aluminium. Ini adalah smartphone tertipis di dunia. Beratnya 112 gram, 20% lebih ringan dari iPhone 4," ujarnya. Selain itu, iPhone 5 mengusung layar 4 Inch yang juga dibalut dengan teknologi Retina Display beresolusi 1136 x 640 pixel 326pi.Kelebihan dan Kelemahan iPhone 5

Harga iPhone 5 di Indonesia
Apple pun sudah mematok harga iPhone generasi keenam tersebut di Singapura. Berbeda dari AS, di Singapura, Apple menjual iPhone 5 versi unlocked alias tanpa terikat kontrak operator.
Apple membanderol perangkat ini mulai dari 948 dollar Singapura atau sekitar Rp 7,4 juta. Harga ini kemungkinan untuk iPhone 5 dengan kapasitas terendah, 16 GB. Belum ada informasi detail untuk model lainnya.
Biasanya, harga iPhone resmi di Indonesia tidak akan berbeda jauh dengan harga yang dipatok di Singapura, kemungkinan ada perbedaan sekitar Rp 1 juta. Jadi, kemungkinan di Indonesia iPhone 5 akan dibanderol mulai dari Rp 8 juta. Belum ada informasi kapan iPhone 5 masuk ke Indonesia.
