Sony Xperia Go merupakan ponsel Android tahan banting dan anti air penerus Xperia active yang lebih dulu diluncurkan tahun lalu. HP Xperia Go ini sangat cocok buat mereka yang suka beraktifitas di luar ruangan, bhakan hp ini bisa diajak menyelam selama setengah jam asal tidak mencapai kedalaman lebih dari 1 meter.

Sony mengatakan untuk seri Xperia Go akan diluncurkan di Amerika Serikat dengan nama Xperia Advance dan menggunakan Android 2.3 Gingerbread dan dijanjikan upgrade ke Android 4 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Sony Xperia Go ditujukan untuk pasar smartphone kelas menengah dengan layar sentuh berukuran 3,5 inci dengan resolusi 480 x 320 piksel. Xperia Go akan ditenagai oleh prosesor dual-core dengan kecepatan 1 GHz serta dilengkapi kamera 5 megapiksel.

Seperti yang dikutip dari VentureBeat, Sony Xperia Go ini akan tersedia dalam 3 warna, hitam, putih dan kuning.
