Sony Xperia Arco S ini ditenagai oleh prosesor dual-core dengan kecepatan 1,5GHz, konektifitas NFC dan kamera beresolusi tinggi, 12 megapiksel.
Layar Xperia Arco S ini berukuran 4,3 inci dengan resolusi definisi tinggi 720p atau 1280 x 720 piksel. Xperia Arco S tersedia dalam 3 warana, hitam, putih dan pink.
Sony juga mengatakan bahwa Xperia Arco S menggunakan sistem operasi Google Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich tidak seperti saudaranya tersebut yang masih menggunakan versi Gingerbread.
Baik Xperia Go maupun Xperia Arco S ini dirancang untuk tahan `ir dan tahan debu serta telah mendapatkan sertifikat ketahanan IP55 dan IP57.
